The first skill that each student wants to learn is speaking. Therefore, this is the skill that should be practised the most.
The question that will then follow from a student is “how can I practise outside the lesson if I don’t have anyone to speak with?”
Many students say to us “my problem is that I think in Italian, then I translate the phrase” and this is a problem. Mainly because the construction of the phrases are completely different.
So what’s the solution to this?
Think directly in English!
A great way to increase your listening skills is to watch TV in English. This is no secret, but many questions arise after this:
